How you can help
The CPI is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers working with a limited budget. We appreciate any and all gifts/donations you are able to offer. Here are some of the things we are looking for:

Money makes the world go ‘round, and can make it a better place, too! As we have no paid staff members and zero overhead costs, we can guarantee that 100% of your generous contributions will go directly to supporting the programs which the Charles Prinsep Initiative undertakes. If you wish to make a focused donation to a specific area of our operations, please specify how you wish your donation to be applied.

We are able to accept all major credit cards and INTERAC Online. All transactions are in Canadian Dollars. Should you require a refund for any reason, please contact us within 30 days of your donation, our full contact information is at the bottom of the page.

If you donate $50 or more, we’ll send a Charlie’s FreeWheels t-shirt to you! Please specify male or female and your size when contacting us.

Donate parts:

We can use any bike parts in good condition. Brakes, brake levers, tires and tubes, bars, shifters, derailleurs, saddles, seats posts, chains, peddles, cranks, brake and shifter cable and housing. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated, and will be used. We need it all!

  • Wheels — we would like to provide a new set of wheels for each participant!
  • Donations of basic bike accessories and safety equipment for participants including: helmets, lights, bells, baskets, fenders, pumps, flat fix kits, handle bar tape.
  • Gift certificates or in-kind donations for raffles and other fundraising.
  • Consumables — grease, lube, etc.
  • Tools — Allen keys, peddle wrenches etc.
  • Bike Frames or complete bikes in good condition.

    • Note: any unused parts will go to next year’s program
